QUARTERLY GOALS

​FIRST QUARTER

English Language Arts:

  • Identifies capital letters out of sequence

  • Identifies lowercase letters out of sequence

  • Produces letter sounds

  • Writes capital letters out of sequence

  • Writes lowercase letters out of sequence

  • Prints first name correctly (first letter capital, rest lowercase) from memory

 

Math:

  • Counts in sequence to 25

  • Writes numbers 0-5

  • Identifies basic shapes (circle, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon)

  • Identifies numbers 0-5 out of sequence

 

Personal and Academic Behavior:

  • Attitude:  displays positive attitude, participates appropriately

  • Respect:  shows respect for authority and peers

  • Cooperation:  works well with other children, gets along with other children

  • Self-Discipline:  talks at appropriate times, uses appropriate voice level, listens while others speak without interrupting, demonstrates physical control, follows instructions, pays attention

  • Responsibility/Dependability:  returns completed homework/pages promptly, accepts responsibility, takes care of materials and property

  • Work Habits:  works without disturbing others, works independently, completes work in a reasonable amount of time, demonstrates best effort

Identifies numbers 0-15 out of sequence

Copies, extends, and creates a simple pattern

 

Science and Social Studies:

Demonstrates understanding of concepts

Participates in discussions and activities
